What is FMusic?
Fmusic is a music composition system.
It is a MIDI-based Fractal Music Generator.

So I just push a button it creates Music?  
Where's the creativity in that?

It's not quite that simple...
There are many, many parameters to control.
As a matter of fact - it takes quite a bit of Work
on the user's part to create a good Composition....
But the results are well worth it.

How much does it Cost?
Right now it's freeware.
This could change in the future though...

What Can I do with FMusic?
Simple - create music!
Use the midi files as is, or edit them in
a MIDI editor to your liking;  record it to a wav
file and process the sound further; combine it with the
output of other software; or use the output as a
starting point for further "traditional" methods
of composition & orchaestration.

I already have some Fractal Music Software,
How can this be any different?
Every Fractal Music generator is different.
All use different methods and algorythms to
generate the music.
FMusic is unique in that it uses a technique called
Cellular Automata to control the changes to the
music.  There are 8 possible "states", each state
representing a collection of musical parameters.
The Cellular Automata (or CA) array controls
how and when these changes occur - thus giving
your music variety.

Are there any user forums for FMusic?
Not specifically for FMusic, but there is the
 CNFractal Music Forum
